The headquarters of TYARC its first Chapter are in Friendswood, Texas. Both were founded by Charles Cotton (KD5GR) and Eric Achord (KF5RUW) each of whom are Extra Class amateur radio operators.

Monthly Club meetings will be held either at the PSC Shooting Club, Inc. or the Amoco Credit Union, both in Friendswood, at a date yet to be determined. Club meetings will include a special presentation by people with expertise in various aspects of amateur radio and amateur TV.
